Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website birddognc.com and the moving and related services provided by Bird Dog Moving & Logistics ("Bird Dog," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Bird Dog provides local and long-distance moving, packing, loading, unloading, labor-only help, junk removal, and related services as described on our website. The specific services we provide for you are confirmed when you book. We may decline or stop work in situations that are unsafe, unlawful, or outside the agreed scope.
Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates are based on the information you give us and are not a guarantee of the final price. The final charge depends on the actual time, labor, distance, materials, access, and services required on moving day. We will let you know about material changes when we reasonably can. An estimate is valid for the period stated, or, if none is stated, for a reasonable time.
Booking, Scheduling, and Cancellations
A booking is confirmed once we agree on a date and scope of work. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. We may charge a fee for late cancellations or rescheduling, or for a trip where our crew arrives ready to work but cannot perform the job for reasons outside our control. Any required deposit will be communicated at booking.
Payment
Payment is due as agreed at the time of service unless we arrange otherwise. We accept the payment methods stated at booking. You are responsible for any agreed deposit and for the final balance once the work is complete.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your move, to ensure safe and legal access at both the pickup and drop-off locations, including parking, permits, and elevator or loading dock reservations where needed, and to tell us in advance about any items that need special handling. You are responsible for obtaining permits or building reservations unless we agree otherwise.
Items We Do Not Move
For safety and legal reasons, we do not transport hazardous materials, flammables, explosives, perishable food, plants, pets, or illegal items. We may decline to move any item that poses a risk to our crew, your property, or others.
Valuables and High-Value Items
Please tell us in advance about items of unusually high value, such as jewelry, cash, important documents, or collectibles. We recommend that you transport irreplaceable items yourself.
Liability and Claims
We handle your belongings with care. Our liability for loss of or damage to your property is limited as permitted by applicable law and by the valuation coverage you select. For interstate moves, federal rules provide a standard level of carrier liability based on weight unless you purchase additional protection. Claims for loss or damage must be reported to us promptly and in writing so we can review them. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
Insurance and Licensing
Bird Dog Moving & Logistics operates under USDOT 4514968 and MC 1788034 and carries liability and cargo coverage. Documentation is available on request.
SMS and Text Messaging Terms
Bird Dog Moving & Logistics sends text message updates and responses to customers about moving quotes, scheduling, and the services offered at birddognc.com. When you opt in to the service, we may send you a message to confirm your signup. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text HELP for help. Text STOP to cancel.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply STOP to any message from us, or text STOP to (919) 896-1909. After you send STOP to us, we will reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending you messages again.
If at any time you forget which keywords are supported, just text HELP to (919) 896-1909. After you send HELP to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service and how to unsubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Website Use and Intellectual Property
The content on birddognc.com, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Bird Dog and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without our permission.
Disclaimers
Our website and the information on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bird Dog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website. Our responsibility for the moving services we perform is governed by the Liability and Claims section above and by applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bird Dog Moving & Logistics from claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our website or services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the courts located in North Carolina.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
